This is the finished green sea turtle I was painting at Brainvessel{The Gallery} during the Best Kept Secrets Tour. This is one of many green sea turtles I was fortunate to see on our last trip to Maui. I just have fallen in love with these magnificent creatures. All the sea turtles are endangered, and it is all because of mans careless habits. If we all stopped using plastic bags it would benefit all the ocean creatures. If we stopped dumping trash in the ocean that would be even better.

This is a scene I knew I was going to paint as soon as a took a few pictures. The tall ship of Delaware teaches people how to sail and gives you a lot of history. I haven't ventured on a voyage yet, but hope to in the future. I just loved the huge flag and the motion, angles and shadows are very exciting. This is Harry the blue heron I met in Hilton Head, S.C. He is a local fellow who comes for dinner every night at the local marina. Many of you who know me know I'm a cat person, but I do love all the animals. This girl is a real sweetheart and I had to paint her for her very special parents for Christmas. Thanks to all who stopped at the Brainvessel The Gallery (4704 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA) on small business Saturday. I was working on this painting at the gallery.
