"View from the Terrace" Oil Pastel by Tatiana Myers.

"View from the Terrace"
 10 x 8 ", RTX 280, OIl Pastels.

This will be one of two works what I'm planning to include in Plein Air exhibit at Kings Gap  State park this upcoming Sunday.
Just another little something, nothing special. Once again I totally loved to work with this new panels. I used a lot of solvent on background  of this painting, what gave it almost a feeling of real Oil. Front was "drawn" with Oil Pastel sticks and no solvent. I like combination of both methods in one painting.
Just what I wanted to see !..

"Kings Gap Creek" watercolor WIP by Tatiana Myers

"Kings Gap Hollow Run" by Tatiana Myers
10 x 8 ", RTX board, watermedia Plein Air.

What a day! lot of things accomplished, including this painting. How I found out this little pretty creek is called "Kings Gap Hollow Run". Beautiful and very peaceful.
Love this place. And... i call this painting finished. Now it could be varnished and framed without glass, since it was painted on a board.

"Water Tower at Kings Gap" By Debra Tritt Kreiger

"Water Tower at kings Gap" 9"x12" Watercolor on Arches 140lb paper

This is my first painting with my friends from Susquehanna Valley Plein Air Painters. It was a perfect day in the park. The acorns were falling, the bees and butterflies were busy and the frogs were in good humor. I chose the unusual water tower as my subject. This created a good composition and the colors shimmered in the sunlight.

"Morning Mist and Red Leaves" by Lyn O'Neal

"Morning Mist and Red Leaves"
oil
12 x 12 inches
The rainy day today reminded me of the day I painted this scene up at Kings Gap last year. It's a loooong drive up that mountain to see this view and it was really starting to rain. But a few of us were determined to paint anyway. This little red tree was so prominant against the mist, fog and rain I knew it had to be the focal point.
