The Sidewalks of NY
original watercolor NY cityscapes: 11" x 14"

In the good ol’ summertime
it’s a fine thing so sublime
to take a walk
a plein air stalk
on the sidewalks of NY
there’s no one else around
as we put our stuff on the ground
we sit and paint
 a cityscape
we hope sells in a gall’ry downtown!

Ghosted Sign, 24 x 30, oil on canvas, by Ron Donoughe

This is the finished Ghosted Sign painting. I usually study a painting for a week or two before calling it quits. Sometimes you'll notice an area that may need to be adjusted. Little things can mean a lot. Here I cleaned up the light and shadow on the green building and warmed up the white areas. This photo doesn't reflect those slight changes, but it did make a difference.

Saint Emilion, France #11 ~ Andy Smith, watercolor

4"x6" Original Watercolor ~ SOLD

I totally enjoyed painting this and loved the perspective!
The view is from high on a roof top looking down.
You see the side of the old buildings and a bit of the roof.
The cobblestone street and an outdoor cafe with tables
and chairs and a few people walking.
