"Resting on the Beach" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

24"x18" watercolor on Arches 300 lb paper

Here is one of many inspired paintings from Maui! This green sea turtle came right up to us as we were sitting on the beach.  He/she has been painted to be forever enjoyed and appreciated by everyone. Just watching them get out of the water is amazing. I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to see them like this. I can say the turtle conservation efforts seem to be working. The colors in this new painting sing! See in person at the Carlisle Arts Learning Center Exhibit(Shared Observations), 38 West Pomfret Ave., Carlisle, PA from May 19th - June 19th.

"Tranquility", an Original Oil Painting by Rebecca Jennings (Sunny)

"Tranquility"

10" x 20"

oil on stretched canvas

This scene is from a reference photo and a quick painting sketch I did last year on my winter RV trip. Biloxi MS is where my eldest daughter was born. I wanted to re-visit the beach I used walk to when she was a wee baby. As she loves water and beaches I painted this to hang in her coastal-color theme bedroom.

Thanks for looking! Comments welcome.
