So excited to hear that this painting will be receiving the M. Graham & Co award at the 37th Pennsylvania Watercolor Society's International Juried Exhibition. This company produces my favorite professional watercolor paints! The show is being held at the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art, 176 Water Company Road, Millersburg, PA. Opening reception is July 9th from 4-7pm. Awards 6pm.

Great news! I am SO HAPPY!!!! My painting, "The Menemsha Striker" was accepted into the 2015 Pennsylvania Watercolor Society's Juried Exhibit which will be held here in the beautiful gallery of the Carlisle Arts Learning Center, here in Carlisle, Pa. Exhibit runs from September 25 to November 13 and the opening reception is Sunday, September 27 from 1 to 3 pm. Iain Stewart was the juror of selection and Luke Buck will be the juror of awards. Thank you Iain Stewart for selecting my work.

Linda Benton McCloskey - Number 9 of 10 - Watermedia on Paper "Green With Envy"

Believe it or not this is number 9 of 10! Only one more to go to complete my commitment of publishing 10 paintings in 10 days. This particular painting, Green with Envy, is another abstract watermedia on paper - framed and matted size 28 x 36. It was just accepted into the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society's (PWS) annual juried international exhibit to be held in Crary, PA (northwest Pennsylvania - I think near Erie).

I'm working on number 10 of 10 today and trying to complete - it's large (36 x 48) and on canvas and only the primary colors - red, blue, and yellow.....
