MALLARD MOTHER AND DUCKLINGS An Original Pastel Painting by Clare Klaum
This is a painting from a photograph that I took on my many trips to Children's Lake in Boiling Springs with my Grand Children. We always buy corn at the Gas Station across the street to feed the ducks as we walk around the lake. It is always such a delight for my Grand Children to see the ducks diving for the corn. It was a beautiful sunny day and the water reflected beautiful colors. The Mother Mallard was so loving and attentive to her ducklings and I was so happy to have captured it in a photo to paint from. This painting is on U-Art sanded paper and is 10 1/4" x 15 1/2".

"Letort Morning", Pastel by Cheryl Kugler
A small, but talented group of artists from CALC (Carlisle Arts Learning Center) have been getting together once a month. In June, we spent a Saturday morning sketching out at Letort Spring Park in Carlisle. Back in my art studio, my onsite sketch turned into a pastel under-painted with watercolor.

Happenstance - An Original Oil Painting by Rebecca Jennings (Sunny)
"Happenstance"
4' x 4" mini, oil on canvas panel
Walking along the Guadalupe River near the campground I happened upon this member of the different ducks and geese that live here. She was so beautiful I had to paint a likeness of her!
Thanks for viewing.
