Well, after your encouraging comments on my recently posted grisaille of this piece, I have spent the past few days working steadily on the color application. This has been a challenging piece and I am very pleased with the final result. With the amount of monochromatic facades of each building, I really had to work hard on careful application of correct values. Glazing methods helped tremendously. With a commission comes the anxiety of "will the client be pleased". She is in Argentina right now, but when she returns we will get together and I will present the piece. I'll let you know how it goes.
