"Star Barn" By Debra Tritt Kreiger

"Star Barn" 10"x14" on 140lb Arches Paper

A while ago I took a visit to the star barn to see for myself why so many artist paint this barn. My husband and I were fortunate enough to land a private tour. How lucky the horses and cows were that lived there! What a beautiful building! The inside is like a church with the stars shinning light inside! My first painting dipicts the star from the outside.

This is my favorite barn in the whole world - and you have painted it beautifully!

I really like the angle you chose to paint-very majestic. Your clouds are very real. Great painting!

Really good watercolor, Debra. Precision can be forced in appearance and difficult to express without seeming stuffy (that's why I usually work around it, I guess!). But you've done a fine job of it here. My husband and I seem to be good at landing private tours, too. Folks love to share their passions when you're enthusiastic. Good for you!
