"Energy Efficient" By Debra Tritt Kreiger

"Energy Efficient" 13"x10" Watercolor on Arches Paper

This is the Dellville Bridge, in Dellville PA. I like to go visit this bridge every so often. It was used frequently to cross over Sherman Creek. A new bridge was built for traffic and now the covered bridge can be preserved and enjoyed. I used the buggy and the title for a little humor and depth.

Oh so gorgeous! I love the buggy! Reminds me of a recent visit to Shipshewana, IN...just redolent of days gone by.

Lovely piece Debra. I'm always glad when a painting preserves history and a bygone era - we can never lose our past.

I must search for this bridge on Google--I've never seen it before--thank you for helping to keep our rich heritage alive.
