"Mute Swan" By Debra Tritt-Kreiger

"Mute Swan" 11"x15" Watercolor on 140lb paper

Just finished this painting. I was remembering the smell of the spring gardens that surrounded the pond of swans as they zipped around happily in their South Carolina home. I chose to emphasize the colors and textures of the sky and the gardens reflected onto the water. A perfect backdrop for this gorgeous Mute Swan who was moving rather fast.

Beautiful painting. I can see the water moving and he/she swam through.

I love the clarity of color in your work, and the reflections in this are gorgeous, Deb!
