"Royal White Mute Swan" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

11"x15" watercolor on arches 140lb paper

This painting was the inspiration of a trip we took to Iris Lake in South Carolina where they had collections of beautiful swans. It was spring and the colorful reflections were so much fun to paint against the white of the swan.

ANDY SMITH, watercolors ~ Lititz, PA

Untitled swan... 22"x20"
In between my miniature paintings I always
have a large one going.    I loved the warm
light and dramatic shadows on this one.

If you go to my blog on 1/28 I show some
ideas for displaying miniatures...

"Mute Swan" By Debra Tritt-Kreiger

"Mute Swan" 11"x15" Watercolor on 140lb paper

Just finished this painting. I was remembering the smell of the spring gardens that surrounded the pond of swans as they zipped around happily in their South Carolina home. I chose to emphasize the colors and textures of the sky and the gardens reflected onto the water. A perfect backdrop for this gorgeous Mute Swan who was moving rather fast.

Swan Study ~ Andy Smith, watercolors

4"x6" Original Watercolor
SOLD

In fall I went on a men's retreat at
French Creek State Park and I
found this graceful swan. The actual
painting glows, I am very happy with
the way it turned out.
