"Pears in a Bowl" Pastel by Charlotte Yealey

9x12
Pastel
I just completed this pastel of pears in a bowl but always looking at ways to improve it. Even though pastels are messy, I love to watch the color pop on on the paper and form the object that is in front of me.

"Brass and Citrus" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

Brass and Citrus 8.25 x 10.25 watercolor on 140lb Arches paper
This was a class demo I did to show the students how to paint brass. I loved this bucket because it had so many interesting flaws which gave it great character.

"Spring Onions and Radishes" An Original Watercolor by Donna Berk Barlup

"Spring Onions and Radishes"
An Original Watercolor by Donna Berk Barlup

Spring is coming!  I promise!  I know it doesn't seem like it right now but it is!
This painting will hopefully remind you of those sunny days when you could walk around in your shirt sleeves, without a heavy coat and hat and peruse the goodies at the Camp Hill Farmers Market.  What could be better than eating some fresh, locally grown vegetables?
This painting is part of the my solo show at the Cornerstone Coffeehouse on Market Street in Camp Hill, PA.  The opening reception is Sunday, February 2nd from 2 til 4.  You will be home in plenty of time to watch the Super Bowl.

Five Is Too Many by Mary Beth Brath

Five Is Too Many by Mary Beth Brath
Mini Acrylic on an ATC
Completed in one day in the time it took the Yankees to clean up the division title! The actual painting is much more saturated in yummy colors. This was painted on an Artist Trading Card. I will mat and frame the piece and add it to my new Confections Series that can be found in my studio at Gallerie 13 in Mechanicsburg.
