in the men's room of Caffe' 101 in Boiling Springs.

'Study of a Black Crappie (Pomoxis nigromaculatus)' by Thom Glace

Transparent Watercolor on Crescent Watercolor Board
Image Size: 10" x 8". Matted Size: 14" x 11".

I just hung this painting up at the Bosler Library in Carlisle on an exhibit with CALC. I have had a lot of fun with this painting. It is one of 2 of this Genus that includes the White Crappie. My best selling mug has the 2 Cappies on it facing each other and the saying- 'Crappie Coffee'. My best selling note card has this painting on it with the saying -
'Sorry to hear you are feeling...'  then it has the picture of the Black Crappie and under it the Name and Scientific name above. Inside it says 'Hope your are better soon. The fish are bitting.'
I have many others on my Zazzle Web Site: www.zazzle.com/thomglace.
It shows haw much fun you can have with art.
