This is the other painting that sold last month in Ohio. Burton Windsor Road in Geauga County Ohio is one of my favorite locations to explore. Most residents on this road are Amish. The road leads to one of the most quaint little towns in the county - Burton Ohio. The Vancura Gallery is a few miles down the road behind those distant trees.

Merry Christmas!

While living in a Civil War Era farmhouse (built in 1864) in Geauga County Ohio, this was the morning view from my living room. The snow would start around Thanksgiving and continue through mid March. We lived there for 8 years and always had a White Christmas. Our family is so happy to see a White Christmas this year in Cumberland County Pennsylvania. I am taking many pictures to work on winter scenes in the studio over the next months.

This painting was created during a 2009 gallery demonstration in the state of Ohio. The barn was located across a small field next to the gallery. Finishing touches were made back in my studio. The painting will be available through the Second Floor Gallery in Mechanicsburg until the end of November.
