| Poppies of summer, watercolor and ink 10" x 10" |
When all there is to see out of my window is snow and ice on the branches; there's nothing like the poppy that grows in the summer to bring me out of the doldrums. We've had so much snow and freezing rain this week, I just had to paint something bright--anything but white! The orange of the poppy was a blessed relief.
