Early Spring from River's Edge by Jane Albin

                                                      "Early Spring from River's Edge"
                                                    7"x5" Watercolor on 140#Arches
This is from a photo I took last Spring.  The green sprouts were trying to find the light.  It was a cold overcast morning.  This is the Market Street bridge crossing the west branch of the Susquehanna River at Lewisburg.

Hi Jane - welcome to the DPP blog! This is a wonderful painting of the Susquehanna. You've achieved a nice depth that pulls the viewer right into the scene.

So happy you have joined the Daily Painter's Jane. It was nice meeting you at Plein Air Camp Hill this summer and I look forward to seeing posts of your work. This lovely painting of the river looks so much like the bridges across the Susquehanna near Harrisburg.
