"Ghost Riders" Contemporary Abstract Painting By Donna Holdsworth

This abstract painting is done on 11x14 textured stretched canvas.  Acrylic paints and mediums applied with a palate knife.  Gel medium gives this painting a "beeswax" effect.  Reminds me of the southwest!  Visit my BLOG:  Donna Holdsworth Contemporary Art.  Thank you!

I've looked at this several times, but didn't have time to comment. This definitely has a southwest feel to it with the colors and design elements - would love to see the textural aspects of this in person because I already like what I see here. Very nice!

Donna - hope you plan to exhibit with us at the State Capitol in June. Seems everyone wants to see your work in person.

I will have to look into it but I think that would be great! And thank you both for your kind comments!

The turquiose and browns are southwest colors--love the palette, the composition and the expertly applied textures.
