Lotus on the Lake

I posted this painting last week in an earlier stage. I could tell it was not working but could not put my finger on what it needed. Thanks to some helpful comments from DPP members I was able to rework my compostion a bit. I think I am feeling happier with it now.

I feel that I was the one who most benefited from the critique. The things that were pointed out to me were quite obvious once I realized. It helped steer me in the right direction to finish this.
