"Winter Sunshine" 5"x7" watercolor on 140lb paperI just couldn't help myself. Not that I'm pushing winter, but I just loved the way the sun dances across the snow. I really like looking into the sun. Sometimes you get amazing results! The silhouettes of the trees bathing in the warm sunlight gives real texture and interest to this painting.

Gorgeous Deb - I love the colors on the snow and the beauty of the sun coming through the trees.
I love the shadows and diagonal lines leading into the painting. The cool blue and warm trees makes a nice contrast.

I ditto all the above--especially Corey's observation--we have all experienced a sunny winter snow covered day. I can feel the warmth of the sun and the crisp cold temperature.
