Endless Summer Watercolor Still Life Series by Daily Painter Bertie Brown - Art is Instrumental

Endless Summer

original watercolor still life w/basket, shells: 23" x 22

(last in a series)

what ho

Sophie and I

just want to know

who turned off the heat

and dimmed the lights low

where are the wool socks for our feet

our cashmere sweaters and turtlenecks

who said summer could retreat?

we are cold and so distressed

why can’t winter last one week

it’s time I guess

to hibernate

until next June

and we both hope

that comes real soon!

You've captured that glorious summer color until next year!

I am with you and Sophie - where did Summer go...where did the sun go??? Beautiful painting that makes me feel as though Summer is still here.
