Windmill Creek Sunflowers by Mary Beth Brath

Windmill Creek Sunflowers by Mary Beth Brath
11x14" Acrylic on Canvas

Fresh off the easel.  This painting was finished on site...until I brought it home and re-worked it.
Pennsylvania is such a gorgeous state.  This site had a potential painting around every corner.

I love your painting and how fantastic those sunflowers look, Mary Beth (and hope you will post the second one you worked on too). We both painted different areas of that tree line, but if you look at our paintings you can see the similarity in shape of those trees/bushes!
I really had to resist the temptation to do more work on mine. It was in my pochade box since I got home Tuesday afternoon, and the paint was dry when I opened it up late this afternoon. I knew if I went into it again I would just bugger it up, so I signed it and left it as is.

So glad to hear that you are finishing up the second one, Mary Beth! I saw it in the field, and can't wait to see the finished painting!

Wow, It makes me want to run down the hill through that field of sunflowers. This came out so gorgeous. What a beautiful piece to look at during the cold winter months wishing for days like this!
