Best of Watercolor - Deb Watson

My watercolor painting, 'Painting As Madness' is going to be included in the next Best of Watercolor book. I'll post more info as I get it. This painting was from a scene in my living room. I was going through a box of art supplies donated to our local group. Many brushes were ruined by dried paint and I was going to throw them away. My daughter snatched up the pile and stuffed it in her tea mug so she could keep them. It looked so interesting, I took a photo of it and painted it. www.debwatson.org

congrats! It's a very funny painting! But also some truth in it as I have, on occasion, felt like pulling my hair out over a painting that wasn't going right.

Yeah, that's for sure. Who hasn't felt like the mug while working on a piece. Very believable light.

Thanks, everybody! Painting art stuff is painting something I know well, so it's fun.
