Pomegranate by Linda Young

"Pom"
Watercolor
7-3/4 x 10-1/4"
This was last month's paint and draw together challenge.  I've been working on commissions and wanted to be able to do something just for me; so I took on the challenge.  However, as usual for me, I was painting and before I knew it-- it was 1:30 am.

It's funny how time flies when in the "zone".
Lovely painting.

Great to read your post Linda. You are not alone! Your creation was worth every minute of your time. See you on Friday!

Great painting Linda! And interesting to see it with the pomegranate painting that Pat Koscienski posted several weeks ago. It is interesting to me that you both peeled your poms the same way....I have always just sliced them in half....but this is much more artistic.

Thank you Julie. The original Poms came from a photo by Lela Stankovic on Paint and Draw Together blogspot; she'd be the one who peeled it that artistic way. Me, I've never even cut into one!
