Watercolor portrait of another little ballerina. I am still working on the portraits of my young ballerinas. The intensity continues - this little one is just concentrating so hard. I think I am enjoying painting this age group because of all the facial expressions I captured during my photo shoot. Her little chest is puffed out and she is just so into watching her little classmates as she prepares for her turn.http://www.artbykathymichels.com/

The front page of the Patriot News carried a photo of the most adorable 3 little girls, sitting and waiting to appear in their church's Christmas pageant--dressed in white robes and wearing sparkling halos--I thought of you, Kathy, right away.--Hope you get The Patriot.
I agree with Cecelia. You have a niche with these little ladies. I can see a self-portrait peaking out of this one Kathy.
