Thank you for the great responses. Oh Tatiana, you are right. This little girl is the same one you see in the big painting from the DPP Capitol show. I took a ton of photos of those little ballerinas. I just loved the expression on her little face and knew I had to paint her. Plus her skin tone is just such a gorgeous color. Such fun - I can't wait to paint more of these little ones.
Today I finished my watercolor portrait of this adorable little girl. She was just such a joy to do. She just wants to learn to dance so much.
