Autumn's Reflections - Original Oil Impressionistic Plein Air Landscape by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Autumn's Reflections
9" x 12"
Oil

This painting of the Yellow Breeches was done plein air off McCormick Road in Mechanicsburg, PA. The day was brisk, but the sun was out enough to show off the burnt siennas and yellow ochres of the autumn day. Beautiful color and composition. McCormick Road is a wonderful area to paint.

Love the lights and darks and the soft renderings of the trees and their reflections.

Really nice fall "feel", Pat. You've captured the briskness the mood beautifully.

This is terrific, Pat. The fluidity of your brushwork really conveys the movement of the water and the whole feel to the painting. Beautifully done!

The bright ochre was a bold move that really works. Nice contrasts and brushwork too. One of my favorites.
