This is 10-1/2 x 13-1/2", Watercolor
My husband and I were driving around last fall and stopped by a stream along the Waggoner's Gap Road to sit and have a picnic lunch. While sitting there, we noticed the blue sky reflection on the water and the orange colored leaves floating in a quiet pool. Some of the leaves had already absorbed so much water they had sunk to the bottom and were decomposing and rocks were becoming covered by them. God knew just how to paint them and placed them perfectly to compliment each other's colors for us to enjoy that day. I decided to paint them myself when I got home.

A happy and maybe unexpected surprise--so nice that you were able to paint this charmer.
This is one of those things of beauty that most people never see...so glad you noticed it, and then painted this. Wonderful!
Linda, I really like the abstractness of this. Your composition is great.
You all are such wonderful artists! Thank you for your comments; there is much to learn from you.
