"Blue Bird" By Debra Tritt-Kreiger

"Bluebird" 8.5"x11" Watercolor on 140lb Arches Paper

I've been wanting to paint this fellow since early spring. I found a place where I had the opportunity to photograph some bluebirds getting ready for spring! I like the warm lit background and the interesting branches which make him stand out.

Deb, this just makes me smile to look at this wonderfully painted bluebird. I know I will be coming back to see him again!

Great painting, Deb. You're right; he does stand out beautifully. I can almost hear him singing.
