Shell Series #3 Watercolor 6"x9"

This is a new shell painting. These are a lot of fun. I can't wait to go to the beach!

Beautiful, Deb. Hope you will be making some cards from this...
Will you be at Gallerie 13 this Friday? I am hoping to have a small white lilac for you which I will have wrapped and bagged for easy transport. Maybe we can arrange to meet there at the same time for a delivery?

Just makes me want to walk on the beach. I agree it would be a great card.

Lovely painting! Great texture in the sand and the shells look so real!

Well, I love this whole series, Debra...How do you get such 'clean' sand? It's just perfect!

Thanks for the positive post! I can't wait to plant the white lilac Claire! Bertie, the sand is done with a lot of layers of spattering with a toothbrush. The key is to glaze over with with that light touch.

A beautifully rendered collection of shells and bits. And the sand looks wet!

Another awesome piece Deb. I love the erosion pattern you added to the sand. It gives the surface depth and interest.
