"Maine Coast" By Debra Tritt-Kreiger

"Maine Coast" 4"x6" Watercolor on 140lb Arches Paper

This is a small painting I did from a photo reference I took from our trip to Maine. I loved the way the mist softens the background. Gives the painting a little mystery.

{{{Sigh...}}} This sure looks like Acadia to me.
This is so lovely - the soft colors and the adept recession that creates such wonderful depth. Love it!

This is simply wonderful, Debra....a little gem reminding me of New England, a favorite vacation area for my family...That background with hints of trees and ocean just makes me smile remembering foggy mornings that bring glorious, sunny afternoons.......

Beautiful painting, Debra. I, too, like that foggy background.

Oh to live here. I've always had a dream of living on the coast of Maine. Gorgeous work, Debra!

I lived near the coast of Maine for a few years- you have taken me back to Camden and Acadia. The work on the rocks is beautiful- especially with the Miniature format you used!
