This small painting represents farmland few miles away from our home.
One of those farms is a place where we keep two of our Morgan horses. I can't possibly describe, how beautiful those fields are and how majestic are those mountains. But I can paint it.

Charlotte, I agree...Those wildflowers are so happy, it makes me happy just to see them... I like the subtle color variations in the distant hills. A painting in 3/4 time, I think! Beautiful, Tatiana..

I miss those green hills... and my horse... she is somewhere there in the snow...I want to think - she is enjoying non-riding time, but I'm no so sure... She likes her grass too.
I love the detailed work of the flowers in the foreground.
