Abby by Linda Young

Abby
Watercolor by Linda Young
11 yrs 10 mos.

My West Highland White Terrier, Abby, went to the Rainbow Bridge on January 30, 2010.  Constant companion, loved belly rubs and going for walks and rides; gentle with children and loved everyone.  She was the best dog I ever had.
Painted in memory of that dear little dog.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose our furry friends. This painting is a wonderful tribute to your lost friend.

What a beautiful painting to honor your adorable dog. Our pets ask for so little, yet give so much. We are so blessed to have them, even though the time seems so short.

So soft and beautiful. The best art is created when our heart is in the work.

Oh Linda...I am so sad for your loss of your best friend. You've done Abby so beautifully, with so much love. I agree with Mary Beth's last line above.

Ohhh, that's so sad to loose our well/loved pets..Very sweet painting to remind you of those good years together..
It's now one year since I had to put down my 'best manx cat ever' . She was 17 (!) years old and healthy until the last 2 months of her long well-lived/well-loved life...We have another manx cat now, 'Molly'..cute but so far not the same loving cat our 'Mango Manx' was.......
