Tea Cup ~ After the luncheon ~ Andy Smith, watercolor

5"x5" Miniature Original Watercolor
SOLD

A bit more contemporary subject for me
but I like to experiment. I owe this
challenge to my daughter. My favorite
part is the reflection of the napkin in the cup.

Beautifully done! I also like the way you painted the reflection of the napkin in the cup, but I also really like the way you've painted the reflections on the cup overall - you really captured the qualities of the china.

I see you didn't even have to get up from your breakfast table this morning to go to work. It is nice to see your work in a different subject area. You can even see the grounds in the last bit of coffee. Very nice!

I enjoy all of your posts Andy. This one makes me wonder about the conversation that has taken place or what the tea drinker was quietly dreaming.

This is a good way to start the day. A very cool painting! You've even captured the morning light!
