"Delicious" By Debra Tritt-Kreiger

"Delicious" 8"x10" Watercolor on 140lb Arches Paper

Just finished this painting. We always take a trip to the local orchard in the fall to get apples to make applesauce. MMMM! I thought I would pay tribute by painting their picture. This painting will be on exhibit at Gallerie 13 for the Fruit and Food show the month of February 2010.

You just made me hungry! :-)
Great looking apples. Also - I wouldn't guess it is a watercolor.

Looks as though I could just reach right in and grab a "Delicious" apple and feel so satisfied munching away!

The apples also made really good applesauce. Thanks for all you comments.

I did a double take... at first I thought it was colored pencil... so much detail... lovely work.

I can't wait to see this IRL. You really nailed the shiny, waxy surface of the apples...yum!
