Julie Riker and I went to check out a 17 acre farm in the Lisburn, PA area today, for a future SVPAP paintout. It's beautiful, with a 19th century farmhouse, horse barn, horses, a huge pond and picturesque landscapes all around. It was sunny morning with blue skies. So, we decided to paint there as well. I just brought an 8x10 canvas and chose to do a small portion of the barn, rather than a larger landscape; but I took many photos and will work from one of those as well.
