Hanging On 3.5x5 watercolor on 140lb paper
This is a sweet little painting I did of tiny sparrow hanging out on a rather windy day among the cattails! I had to really look for him because he blends right into the background. I believe this little bird is called a chipping sparrow. He has a wonderful song to sing.

I agree with Sue--what an amazining mini--the bird is perfection and the diagonals in the bacground complement the vertical so well.
