"Sedona". Oil by Tatiana Myers.

"Sedona". 8 x 10"

This one one of 3 latest "Daily Paintings" what I did during last few days. I'm not biggest fan of
"painting-a-day" movement, but I do realize that I need to start work faster without loosing so much quality.
Therefore I'm going to dedicate more time to my etudes.
Like all my small oil paintings this one will be available on e-bay.

I've been to Sedona twice. It's like another world. There are paintings" everywhere you look. Ive done a couple, but from my photos. Your painting is rugged, and monumental just like the mountains.

Thank You, ladies! I wasn't there just yet, we only went us far as top part of Utah, but colors already were there... Love it, need to plan to go and see canyons.
Cecilia, I used heavy duty gesso ground with the broad strokes to create the structure... It clearly worked. I like it. Will need to keep in it mind for the future.
