FROSTED GLASS AND VELVET, 16x12, oil, by Sharon Benner

Frosted glass is painted a little different, like a cloudy day landscape the values are closer and the reflections are soft.  The velvet cloth makes for a soft composition.

I like how you painted this still life. Frosted glass is hard to paint because the reflections are so soft. You did a great job.

I agree with Charlotte--I can almost feel the texture of that glass.
