Painting along the water... photos from a plein air painter day

Claire Carnell, plein air painter
This bullfrog serenaded us all day, while his fellow froggies up the creek, sang the chorus.
Snappin' turtles on logs and girls on rafts
Talk about a not-so-still-life!
Pretty little Phoebe singing it's song as we drove away.
Linda Young, plein air painter

I thought you might like to see where we spent the day today.  I have a personal friend who told us we could come out to paint any time, so I took him up on it today.  It was a glorious, sunny day with a chilly breeze once in awhile.  My new plein air umbrella gave me fits for at least an hour...that did it for me.  I came home and ordered a shadebuddy.  I saw Claire's and made up my mind to get one.
Hope you like the pictures of our adventure today.

Great post Linda. So exciting to know so many DPP members are scattered across Pa painting outside this week.
