Poppy Pizzicato Watercolors by Daily Painter Bertie Brown - Art is Instrumental

Poppy Pizzicato
original watercolor/poppy: 7" x 11"
 Sophie and I
are wondering why
our poppies insist
on blooming at this
fickle time of the year
when temps hover near
the forties and rain
destroy their domain
why couldn’t they just
remember for once
that cold April showers
bring May sun and flowers
if only they’d wait
it could change their fate
but no, they insist
they only do this
on April 15th
or near that it seemst
and that’s when they dance
the Poppy Red Prance!

Bertie, this has the most amazing graphic quality - it could easily convert to fabric. I LOVE this!
