AZALEAS IN BLOOM By Cecelia Lyden

oi/stretched canvas
11x14
Another cold and this time raw day for our paintout at Italian Lake in Harrisburg. But the azaleas were bright and warm and some of the blossoms on the trees were still hanging on. I was able to get the composition down and the canvas covered with the colors ,before my hands stopped working, but most of this painting was completed indoors. PS Boy, do I hate changes and this new method of posting!

Very nice Cecelia. What is the new method of posting? I guess I'll have to post something to find out!

Lovely colors and atmosphere, Cecelia. I realized that the biggest issue with the new posting is navigation - they kind of leave you hanging. Guess we will get used to it eventually, just like all of the other changes!
