THE VIEW FROM VIVIAN'S FARM
an Original Plein Air Oil Painting
by Claire Beadon Carnell

'The View from Vivian's Farm'
Oil on canvas panel
8 x 8

Thank you to our new SVPAP member, Vivian Brandler, for
inviting us to her beautiful farm to paint.  There were
so many potential paintings available because every
where you looked there was a new and different view
just waiting to be painted.  This is a view looking
across the road from Vivian's farm.

Thank you, Vivian for the wonderful day of painting,
and your very gracious hospitality!

Here's the second piece I did while I was there - a one hour
study of a chair that was outside by the chicken coop.

'Chair by the Chicken Coop'
One hour plein air study
Oil on panel

Here's a picture of some of the artist's who came to paint:

From left to right - Ralph Hocker, Sharon Benner (directly above
Ralph), Deb Kreiger, Larry Lerew, and
Mary Beth Brath showing her painting.

LOVE the farm scene, Claire! That must be quite a lovely place. It's fun to see the fields as they appear in their "pre-season" form.
