Cold Storage
twas time to relax
and take in the sight
of pears back to back
huddling tight
seems they were just cold
‘though this winter’s plight
had less bite, I’m told
and I’m sure “they’re” right!
but winter it is
and pears are like me
it’s summer we miss
on that we agree..
