Non-Professional Photograph
Transparent Watercolor on Crescent Mat Board
Image Size: 9" x 4.5". Matted Size: 14" x 11".
Sixth in a series of Freshwater Darter Studies.
Next is the Vermilion Darter.

The Series to date:

Green Sided Darter

Banded Darter

Variegate Darter

Candy Darter
Rainbow Darter

There is almost a limitless number of Darter Species
in North America. They are around 2" and
hug the bottoms of rivers and streams.
My wife says they should be Caribbean Reef Fish
with their bright colors. I agree.

Absolutely beautiful watercolors, Thom. Love the precision without them seeming overworked.
