I learned today that my watercolor Ballet in Blue was awarded Honorable Mention in the York Art Association's Figurative Works Exhibit. I'm very excited about this award, which is my first, and have to give a shout out to Kathy Michels who continues to support my painting growth and keeps me focused about entering exhibits!
The young lady was a joy to paint and has such beauty that I hope I did her justice.
