Squeezed between a cold, rainy day on Thursday and a cold, snowy day on Saturday was a cold, partially sunny day on Friday. Our plein air group decided to seize that day and we headed for Willow Park. I shivered for most of the time we were there, but we managed to find a spot of color by the creek and, once again it was so nice to be out painting with friends.

Cecelia, I'm sure you feel your shivers were worth it. This is beautiful!
So glad the squeeze produced this lovely painting! Bet it all looks different now.
very beautiful oil : )
It always amazes me how you can pull together a painting in the end. This turned out great - love the reflected colors.
Love the reflections in the water and those great fall colors...all while enduring COLD temps!
Beautiful, Cecelia. Wonder how many of those gorgeous trees you painted still have all of their limbs - how wonderful that you captured this lovely autumn scene before that storm hit!
