This is a portrait of my youngest daughter in her Halloween mask. Done in graphite and charcoal. These are newer mediums for me, so I was happy with the result. I hope to do something similar in acrylic soon, but I know from past experience this will be a challenge for me! Link:

To be able to capture our own children in a work of art is such a treat. This is lovely.
Very nice concept! Charcoal is difficult for me. I've tried it but it just doesn't like me for some reason. If I really need a black some where I might use it but it's just too difficult for me. I really do like this and I like the mask. Nice overall design too.. ever so slight angle in her head the way you have it makes it more interesting. Looking forward to see more like this!
