The Good Ol' Boys Of Spring by Donna Berk Barlup

The Good Ol' Boys Of Spring
by
Donna Berk Barlup
Watercolor on Paper 12" x 10"

I am thrill to be a new member of this talented group.
This watercolor was started at a farm auction.  I would often bring my sketch book and my camera to auctions to catch some of the characters you see there.  There are always many interesting people and objects at these farm auctions.  I am intrigued by the unusual things people collect over a lifetime and the sadness that their entire life collection is now up for sale.

Hi Donna -- Welcome aboard! Very nice work -- the man on the left looks like my brother, actually. I look forward to seeing more!

Great, great painting! The details are wonderfully executed, and the overall effect is bold. You have a real feeling for personality! I'll be excited to see what else you do.

Donna, you captured a moment in time and personally I love to look at art that does just that. When I look at this painting, I wait to hear them start talking. Great painting and welcome to the group.

Welcome. Love the two characters you have captured. Makes me wonder what they have their eyes on at that auction.
