A Drink (a departure in wood-burning) by Dianne Lorden

It's been a while since I posted here, but not because I haven't been busy working. Thought I'd share one of my recent completions of wood-burning on a gourd.
My artwork can be seen at South Mountain Sketchbook

My gourd-crafting can be seen at Shamanic Art

What an amazing rendering of a tiger--not to mention it is depicted on a ghord--I'm in awe.

Wonderful! I used to do some wood burning but mine never looked as good as this!

Very striking. I would never have guessed it was on a gourd. Wonderful work.

WOW! First of all, I can't believe this is a gourd, and secondly - what a beautiful painting!!! I absolutely love the bunching up of the tiger's muscles, and the way he is looking up while he drinks.
This is incredible!!!
