BECKONING by Linda Benton McCloskey

This piece was begun as a demonstration at the class I teach at the York Art Association.
It's a large canvas - 36 x 48 - with acrylic, colored gesso, graphite, water-soluble crayons, and graphite.

Linda, I really enjoy pinks and greens together. The dark values you're injected give them an entirely new dynamic. Very cool!

Amazing work, Linda. I am instantly drawn into this, and find the linear components pulling me along to enjoy each area of the painting.
